　　"You'll be pleased with me today, mother," said Dick to his mother, coming home from school. "I saved on fares. I didn't go to schoolby bus but ran all the way after it."

　　“妈妈，你今天会对我满意的，“放学回家后，迪克对妈妈说。“我省下了车钱。我上学时没有乘公共汽车，而是一路跟着公共汽车跑。”

　　"Well," said his mother laughing. "Next time you should run after a taxi, you'll save much more."

　　“噢，”她的妈妈笑道。“下次你应该跟在出租车后面跑，会省更多。”
